Machesney Park is in Illinois, in the Midwest, where summers are warm, winters are cold and snowy, and most errands are done by car; businesses keep steady year-round hours with the usual holiday changes. US addresses list the street number and name, then the city, state abbreviation and ZIP code, and Machesney Park follows the same pattern; a suite or apartment number such as Ste 200 refers to a unit inside the building. My college student had a flat and after getting the tire inflated, I guided him to Plan B. He said they were helpful, quick and good value for quality pre-owned tires. They got him back in the road quick! Thanks Plan B.

Now I haven’t personally got work done here but I plan to after my encounter. I have a rim that has a big crack in it (very dangerous). But I was desperate as I had some very important stuff going on. I dropped it off and went with a friend to go grab food last Saturday. While out I get a call from the receptionist telling me they can’t do the work, but I insisted anyway. When I got there I was met with whom I’m going to assume was the owner or person in charge. I see my tire and wheel in the same place not worked on. Needless to say I’m furious. We exchanged words and all in all he refused to do the work and I stormed out upset saying all types of things. But I’m on here to say that I was wrong and that I appreciate them for having integrity and not doing the work and trying to get a quick buck. So when my new wheel gets here I will be going to get serviced and apologize to the shop.

All in a matter of 24 minutes this happened… I call the shop from the goodwill parking lot near by asking if they have my size, price and can they take me now. They said yes. I drive 5 minutes down the road and give them my tire on the rim that’s already off my vehicle. They mount the new tire on my rim have me pay and I’m out the door. All in 24 min. 60 for the used tire total with tax. Came to 67. The tire looks great and has a 7 day warranty. I’ll place the tire on today and drive over 300 miles the next 7 days. I’ll report back if I have any problems. But so far thought the service was thorough upfront and they didn’t try to sell me anything. Thank you. ** Update I don’t think I’ll have to use my 7 day warranty. I’ve driven over 500 miles on the tire since buying it. It makes my other tires look old now. The tread was good. The structure is great. Hasn’t lost air or anything on rigorous use. I appreciate the service and I will be back again. These are quality used tires, Not faulty ones. **

If you have rims, don't go here!!!! Apparently he doesn't know the difference between a rim and hub cap. Changed my tire and tore my rim apart doing so. Tried to tell me I have hub caps but in the pictures you can clearly tell that he had to break it apart from the material that holds the rim together. If I could give - stars i would. Go elsewhere!!!!
